It's the best Gym I've ever been at - but help me here GymBros/ettes on etiquette?<br><br>At one of the Deadlift stations upstairs - all the 5/10/20 weights I need on the rack of my station. Working through my set. The dude next to me whilst I'm lifting - simply walks over to my station and starts taking my weights away from the station rack - not the independent racks. I say "Its usually polite to ask". He says, Is this your gym? I say No. He says did I take them off your bar, I say No. However I then say, 'Its just polite to simply ask as they're on my station"<br><br>Cue return to his station beside me and much much banging of weights. Am I wrong for the ask?
old school gym for serious lifters
Great spot, got day pass for 10, loads of machines and helpful staff
Not as good as I was expecting it to be. I found it to have limited equipment for muscle groups. There was an annoying person muttering stuff every time he finished his set out loud and banging weights. The cleanliness was very poor in the changing rooms and around the gym. There’s parking but only on the street which you have to pay for.
Influencers everywhere with their tripods recording. They get pissed off when you go in front of their camera, but there's so many of them that I don't know where to walk. I thought it was a place for me to train hard, not a photo shoot.
Visited ultimate fitness Birmingham over the Arnold weekend I was recommended. met the manager called sid at reception found him very strange as he kept looking up and down at my girlfriend who was with me at the time then I ask about the history of the gym in which he went off the Subject and started talking about himself and how he used to train with Dorian Yates all the time looking at my girlfriend she Felt very uncomfortable I found it very disrespectful so We paid for A session overall the gym is good with good Equipment.
First proper experience in a muscle Gym! Awesome vibes all round.
