Thank you to Charlie for showing me around the gym and Aimee for answering questions over the phone a week prior. Deffo my kinda gym and once I move to the area will be singing up and make it my regular, looking forward to having some EPIC sessions there. Peace out!
Make it look so nice on TikTok etc. Went with a day pass. Not one thing in the gym was impressive. From talking about memberships with a member of staff to just trying out every machine to which not one actually worked seamlessly. Dumbbell section was a shambles. Benches are ripped and dig into your back. Can’t even get the pin into the weights on cables etc. Don’t waste your time in going. Joke of a gym. CATFISH.
I’ve been coming to this gym for over 2 years now, and it pains me to write this but the gym is going downhill and downhill fast. They seem to be paying way more mind in TikTok’s now then they are of their equipment and the important things. The amount of times I have came to workout and seen the same machines breaking or still broken, protein shakes being served in small cups because they haven’t got any big cups left (this happened just this morning and many times over the last few months), the quality of music has gone downhill too, you can tell they aren’t putting any thought into how their customers experience is actually using the gym. There are never any clips left for machines and you’re left standing or searching for the small few they have. Saturdays it is impossible for me to use the hyrox room and do a mock circuit as they have a class running for 2-3 hours, that class seems to get priority over people who are paying monthly to come to the gym, people who work full time jobs and usually only have the weekend free to workout whenever they want to. Overall, this is not a gym that keeps their customers in mind anymore, and if this review doesn’t help them see what they are failing at then I will be moving as I think we can all agree that nobody pays their hard earned money to have this experience.
Great gym with a really friendly atmosphere. The staff are helpful, the equipment is well maintained, and it’s a great place to train whether you’re a beginner or experienced. Highly recommend
I used to do pt sessions with Aimee and I now go to the gym on my own and I feel so comfortable doing so, Willclare is the best gym I have been to. This gym has everything you could ever need and the staff are so welcoming and supportive to beginners!
