Hi I was very pleased with the survey I had done . Josh was very pleasant friendly and explained the damp problem I've got perfectly . He advised me on what to do next . He also cleared out one of my drains in the back yard which was full . He also arrived within the time agreed on . I would recommend this company to anyone . Excellent service .

DAMPX were absolutely brilliant. The work involved finding leaks in aging drainage, quite deep underground. They were not satisfied with finding the first leak, but carried on searching until all the ground was covered. When a further, mysterious problem was discovered, they were willing to go several extra miles in order to solve it - which they have. After all that, leaving the site fully cleared (and cleaned indoors)! The three operatives were wonderful, discussing clearly what they were doing at each stage, outlining the options fully, friendly and chatty while remaining totally professional. I would totally recommend them

We started getting quotes back in January for damp in the kitchen. After four quotes we were no wiser and starting to worry. Luckily I said "just one more quote". Josh came out, took his time, and did something non of the others had done which was to check what was on the other side of the kitchen wall in the neighbouring property. We knew their garden ran the full length of our property, but didn't realise it was much higher than ours (Josh noticed this) and came approximately 4/5 foot up our kitchen wall. This required a different solution to what we had previously been quoted! We are very happy with the finished work. The team did a great job and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you.

Ive just moved into a new home- Josh took time to investigate issues and explain them thoroughly. I was working from home when work was being completed and the team was very efficient, respectable and left everything tidy.

I obtained a quote from Josh after I had a free damp survey completed by another company. I have to say I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He explained what he thought was causing the damp and gave me great advice about what would help with it. There was no pressure selling and I felt confident that the advice he gave would help. I’m so glad I contacted him as had I not have done I could have spent thousands on work that would not have helped resolve the issue. I’d highly recommend Dampx and would advise people to be weary of companies that offer free damp surveys and insist rising damp is the only cause. I’m now looking forward to the winter and not dreading it as I have done for the past 10 years.
