Highly recommend Jon. We needed help to redesign the layout of our small house. The previous owner had made some unusual choices (it had ended up with two kitchens) and we’d spent three years completely stumped on how to make the space work. Finally contacted Jon in desperation, and he was great!<br><br>He took the time to understand the space and how we wanted to use it. He drew up plans for a range of options, which included a solution that we would never have thought of ourselves. He then worked iteratively to refine the design until we were completely happy.<br><br>The work has now been done and the house is transformed: we’re delighted and a huge part of that is thanks to Jon. He was very supportive with follow-up questions while we were getting quotes from builders etc. 100% recommend.

I am so happy that I found Beth and Jon! I had recently bought a new flat that needed completely refurbishing and that felt overwhelming. Jon came up with some great designs for a revised layout which worked really well for a small space. I really enjoyed working with Beth on the design. They both took loads of time to understand me, my lifestyle and taste. Then Beth pushed me with ideas that I would never have considered and sourced products and fixtures that saved me time and money. They introduced me to a fantastic builder who works with really lovely tradespeople so the final result is beyond what I had hoped for. I will always be grateful for their help.

Can’t recommend Jon and Beth enough. To start, they completely got who we are, our style and how to bring that to life. They also understood how we use the space in our home, and how to maximise it practically without sacrificing the aesthetics. They came up with ideas that we wouldn’t have imagined. Project management was excellent and they took care of everything from start to finish. We’re 100% happy with what they delivered for us.

We worked with Jon and Beth for 6 months on the renovation of the downstairs of our house. Having had negative experiences of previous work and builders we were keen to get some help and support, with the designs, ideas and execution.<br><br>The process overall was a really enjoyable experience. Communication was regular and matched the decision making process. Not being the most creative people, but with an idea of what we wanted, we were challenged in a really positive way - including moving the kitchen which we would never have thought to do and worked brilliantly.<br><br>Their builder team were fantastic and worked around us and our family, meaning we could stay in the house throughout. Similarly their network of suppliers were great to work with.<br><br>Overall a really positive experience - would highly recommend.

I recently used Fresh Start Living to advise on a colour scheme, furnishings and lighting for my kitchen / dining/ living area and linked snug. Beth really considered the spaces and natural lighting and how to make the best use of these. She tested my 'likes' and nudged me a little on what I might do. I thoroughly enjoyed her consultation and the discussion we had which gave me real food for thought. Her visit was followed up with a written report covering all the areas we had discussed and practical details on where to source items from. So pleased I made use of her expertise.

Beth and Jon have been great to work with. They suggested some great ideas for how to use my space more effectively, and the colour schemes and mood boards show that they really listened to my likes and dislikes so that almost every proposal was spot on first time for me. Where anything wasn't quite to my taste, they were happy to suggest alternatives. I would definitely recommend this team, and would be happy to use again if I need any more design input.

I was recommended Fresh Start by a friend who had just had her bedroom redesigned by then. I was looking for inspiration and confidence to create a lux feel bedroom with a new ensuite. Beth created numerous design options on how to use the space and maximise storage still in keeping with the style of house - many of which we would have never of considered.<br><br>Being a novice to wallpaper I also needed a push to go bold and Beth certainly did that - with a nod to art deo, but with a very modern twist.<br><br>Our next project is our hallway and stairs and landings and I will certainly be using Fresh Start again.

Fresh Start transformed our bedroom and ensuite, and we couldn’t be happier with our new space! We had been at a loss for a while, unsure how to adjust the layout, as the old ensuite was poorly positioned and left awkward spaces in the bedroom. Jon and Beth came up with several great ideas for us to consider and also helped us project-manage the renovation. They handled everything—from communicating with the builders to coordinating material orders, deliveries, and regular site visits. The only thing we had to do was look out for their email updates on key sign offs 😃.<br><br>The entire process was incredibly well managed and super-efficient. We were kept informed throughout, and Jon was amazing every step of the way. Beth and Jon are brilliant! They listened to everything we discussed and their suggestions and what we ended up with were infinitely better than if we'd been left to our own devices. We just wish we'd used them when we had our extension in the first instance!
