Can’t recommend Jon and Beth enough. To start, they completely got who we are, our style and how to bring that to life. They also understood how we use the space in our home, and how to maximise it practically without sacrificing the aesthetics. They came up with ideas that we wouldn’t have imagined. Project management was excellent and they took care of everything from start to finish. We’re 100% happy with what they delivered for us.

We worked with Jon and Beth for 6 months on the renovation of the downstairs of our house. Having had negative experiences of previous work and builders we were keen to get some help and support, with the designs, ideas and execution. The process overall was a really enjoyable experience. Communication was regular and matched the decision making process. Not being the most creative people, but with an idea of what we wanted, we were challenged in a really positive way - including moving the kitchen which we would never have thought to do and worked brilliantly. Their builder team were fantastic and worked around us and our family, meaning we could stay in the house throughout. Similarly their network of suppliers were great to work with. Overall a really positive experience - would highly recommend.

I recently used Fresh Start Living to advise on a colour scheme, furnishings and lighting for my kitchen / dining/ living area and linked snug. Beth really considered the spaces and natural lighting and how to make the best use of these. She tested my 'likes' and nudged me a little on what I might do. I thoroughly enjoyed her consultation and the discussion we had which gave me real food for thought. Her visit was followed up with a written report covering all the areas we had discussed and practical details on where to source items from. So pleased I made use of her expertise.

Beth and Jon have been great to work with. They suggested some great ideas for how to use my space more effectively, and the colour schemes and mood boards show that they really listened to my likes and dislikes so that almost every proposal was spot on first time for me. Where anything wasn't quite to my taste, they were happy to suggest alternatives. I would definitely recommend this team, and would be happy to use again if I need any more design input.

Beth and Jon were such a great team to work with on our recent house redesign. They are very friendly, practical, and kind about the amount of clutter that comes with having a young family. They came to see us and spent a good couple of hours with us to hear about what we were thinking, things we liked, and things we wanted to change. They then went away and came up with some mood boards and plans before they came to see us again to discuss it all. They made some fantastic suggestions that we loved, and were also really open to changing things that we thought wouldn't work. They were happy to go back and forth by email (since we have limited time) and were really patient with us. Once we had designs we loved, they put us in touch with trusted tradespeople that they work with a lot, which saved me having to go ringing around lots of people. Everyone they have suggested has been fantastic, so it has been a great help. They also gave us a spreadsheet with links to the furniture they recommended, which was all tailored to the price range we were looking at. We're still in the process of finishing some of the rooms, but we are thrilled with the results so far!
