Liam and his team did an amazing job on extending our current front patio. The paving stones match perfectly and blend seamlessly together. The quality of work is excellent! I cannot recommend First Light Landscaping highly enough.

First Light did an incredible job transforming our new build garden into a much more usable, beautiful space.<br><br>From the get-go with Sammy, she really saw our vision and brought it to life with the initial design plans, advising us along the way on what would and wouldn't work.<br><br>What really stood out was that at no point were we pressured into using them for the actual build. But you could tell they were all experts and genuinely passionate about what they do, so it was a no-brainer.<br><br>Neal talked us through all the practical side of things and answered our many questions with so much patience and Liam the Director even popped over before work started to have a chat and clarify some points.<br><br>The landscapers then came in and transformed everything. It was a classic new build situation, the ground was all manner of levels and bumpy, so there was a huge amount of levelling work to do, and they handled it all seamlessly. The whole thing was incredibly well organised with no delays at all, all materials and machinery arriving exactly when needed. The guys started early every day and worked through all manner of weather to get the job done to a very high standard, always cleaning up at the end of the day. The attention to detail was impressive too, to the point of making sure the gaps between the paving slabs were as even as possible.<br><br>They also thoughtfully arranged for a portable loo on site, so they didn't need to come inside the house at any point, which was really considerate.<br><br>We worked with Sue on the planting design and she was clearly just as passionate about her craft. She took the time to really understand what we wanted.<br><br>Not only did they create a great entertaining space at the back, they also gave us a new drive at the front and a private side garden, which has made the whole property much more usable and attractive. We'll definitely be using them again for the next phase of the garden.<br><br>Only piece of advice is to look after them and offer plenty of drinks, they work really hard. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

From the very first conversation, First Light impressed us. We were unfortunate to have someone crash into our garden wall, but the lads at First Light have done an incredible job restoring it back to the original state, which was really important to us. On top of that they even sorted us out with a gorgeous new gate as the stone had shifted and broken our old one. They were great from the moment we first called. Cannot recommended them enough.

From start to finish we were delighted with our choice of First Light to replace our rotting wooden raised beds with beautiful, reclaimed stone ones. Liam was helpful and insightful throughout, understanding our requirement to respect the existing design, complement the sculptural elements in our garden and provide us with a long-lasting alternative for our six large curved raised beds. Communications were prompt and clear. Matt and Chris who completed the work were punctual, efficient and considerate, tidying up carefully at the end of each day. We were impressed by Matt’s skilled stone masonry and by the way he and Chris worked together. They were a delight to have around and always kept us informed of progress and involved in decision making. The new raised beds are beautiful and we look forward to many years of productive enjoyment.

We have just had a garden design and fit for both the front and rear garden.<br>The standard of work has been exceptional and the teams involved were second to none. Polite, friendly, appreciative and damn hard workers in all kinds of weather. Their attention to detail was impecable and they always cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day.<br>They have created us a stunning outside area which is an extension of our home and we can't wait to sit out there in tthe summer (with any luck). We really can't thank them enough and we would 100% recomend them if you are thinking of changing your outside areas.

We are absolutely delighted with the work from First Light Landscaping. The design was excellent, carefully aligned to our budget and exactly what we needed. They transformed what had been a bit of a hotchpotch area into a beautiful patio with flowing steps and a pathway that now connects seamlessly to the rest of the garden. FirstLight implemented a garden design for us in January 2026. The work was carried out mostly by James and Ian with Louie as Site Manager who also got heavilly involve in implementing the work. We also occasionally had Milo and Murphy on site helping out.<br>The work lasted four weeks and was carried out professionally, and despite almost constant rain, in an enthusiastic manner. Either Louie or James kept us up to date with progress and asked regularly if we had any questions or concerns. They also suggested minor tweaks to the design as the work was carried out and that we were grateful for. These guys know what they are doing and any advice they give will be well founded by experience.<br>Overall, we were very impressed with the on-site work and are glad that we chose FirstLight with the task of implementing the design.

Really happy with First Light - great communication throughout to develop a full design and split into 2 phases. All of the guys on site throughout were incredibly professional and helpful and the outside space has already been completely transformed at the end of the first phase. Would highly recommend.
