I honestly cannot recommend Mark from 247 Local Locks highly enough. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, patient, knowledgeable and incredibly reassuring. The job itself was far from straightforward, as it involved opening the locks on my classic Mercedes 190SL — a beautiful but extremely old and delicate car that requires a huge amount of care and attention. What really stood out to me was Mark’s willingness to take on such a challenging job with complete confidence and professionalism. Many people would have probably walked away or rushed the work, but Mark approached everything with genuine care and respect for the vehicle. You could immediately tell that he understood how important it was to avoid any damage and to work carefully around such an old classic car. Throughout the entire process he remained calm, focused and meticulous. He took his time, explained things clearly, and handled the car with incredible precision and patience. It was obvious that he takes real pride in his work and genuinely cares about doing the job properly rather than just getting it done quickly. Finding someone trustworthy and skilled enough to work on a classic car is not easy, but Mark exceeded every expectation. His attention to detail, professionalism and overall attitude were absolutely first class. On top of that, he was friendly, respectful and genuinely helpful from start to finish. I called Mark for some lock barrels and he directed me to some recommended retailers and gave me some very helpful advice to help me save money. He additionally gave me a good offer to do the job hassle free. Very helpful and pleasant guy. Highly recommended.

I live in Alwoodley, on on the northern edge of Leeds, where we had pvc bifold doors fitted a few years ago. On Friday 11th July 2025 the bifold door was jammed shut, even though the door handle was moving freely. I called Mark at 247 Locksmiths and he was at my door within the hour. He a spent a while trying to find a solution that wouldn't be expensive, but realised that new parts would need to be ordered. He created a temporary solution with a locking mechanism from his van; which meant we were able to open and lock the doors in the hot weather over the weekend. Mark came back this morning (Monday 14th July) as promised and fitted the new parts. As a result the bifold doors are like new. Throughout my interaction with Mark he was unfailingly polite despite facing a difficult job in oppressive weather conditions. He took it all in good humour and completed the job to a very high standard at a fair price. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Mark is good fun but very professional and I urge everyone to contact 247 if you ever need a locksmith. I also took a sneaky photo of him (sorry, Mark) as I knew I'd be giving him a good review and I wanted to prove that the review is genuine. I'm sure he won't mind!
