Central Properties

Lived in one of central properties houses for a year as students and throughout the tenancy the communication was awful. Anything that was reported wouldn’t get fixed or if they attempted to, it was to terrible standards and/or took longer than it should have. When we moved in, there were various issues regarding damage and mould in multiple rooms of the house, mainly the living room. Even though we reported these issues, once we moved out they tried accusing us of causing the damage! Would not recommend finding a student house through this company.

Central properties are the best rental agency in Leeds, they were absolutely amazing, the staff are very friendly, especially Grace!!.<br>They are very good with maintenance, and amazing with keeping the property well.<br>I could not recommend them enough, they also returned my deposit in full!!.<br>Can't stress enough about how perfect they have treated me.

They were nice during the renting process. But after I got my place they would take days to respond to issues. We had no power in our house and they took 2 days to literally fix it.<br>We are students and we have assignments to do and submit.<br>Everyone in my house complains about Olivia. Anytime you call she dismisses the issues even if it’s urgent.<br>I wish they could change something about their urgency and fixing problems.<br>It’s not very helpful considering we pay rent including bills and literally have problems which are not fixed.

Great selection of house shares was just a case of finding the one that fit my specifications. Lad showing us round was very helpful and not too salesman like making it comfortable to come to an informed decision. Would recommend.

Central has genuinely been the best company I have ever rented from: communication is extremely quick and effective, and every staff member I interacted with throughout my tenancy was understanding and accommodating. Maintenance issues were tackled almost immediately (in some cases, the same day), and the house was nearly flawless upon moving in. We were also given an envelope upon our arrival of useful documentation such as how to sort out our bills, council tax, parking, and contact details for any issues with rent. Our full deposit was returned to us in just over a week after the end of our contract with no difficulties or delays. In particular, Olivia C has been amazing throughout the year in her quick and helpful communication to tenants, as well as her (and the whole company's) considerate and human approach to any difficulties we encountered. Having rented from some truly horrible agents in the past as a student, I was doubtful about the existence of a good company in Leeds to rent from but would highly recommend Central to students or professionals!
