Incompetent and inhumane. The sales team are slick, and Suzi's lovely. But for renters, maintenance doesn't exist. Issues with the electrics and lighting raised before moving in were not resolved during the tenancy, and they even tried to charge me for it on moving out! Fortunately, there was a stack of evidence against them. 3 months in, rats started entering through a hole in an external wall. For 9 months, Hunters did nothing, and even found it funny on moving out 'oh, we best fix this before anyone else moves in, ha-ha'. That's despite pleading with them 6 months in, prior to a hospital operation, to fix the issue - as swarms of flies would appear after putting poison down, which was a massive risk with a wound that needed nurses to come and dress daily! Faulty dish-washer for the last couple of months, fixed on the day I vacated! Incompetent and inhumane.
I’ve been renting through Hunters for 6 months now and it’s definitely a step up from any other Leeds agency! When I first moved in there were quite a few issues in the flat, however, Rahul has been very responsive to all of my FixFlo reports. He has been acting promptly whenever I identified problems, which tend to be resolved in a timely manner. So far so good! Barbara

Hunters were excellent when I was searching for a new home to rent in Leeds, but since I moved in it has been a constant uphill battle. The communication between the team is nonexistent meaning maintenance requests are never completed or even responded to. I am constantly having to send the same email to 4 different people to get absolutely anything done. When I have brought these points to their attention I am met with defensiveness. I have really loved the flat I found through Hunters but I will not be renewing my tenancy purely because of the lack of communication and professionalism at the Leeds branch.
