We used McCarthys 19 years ago to move house and we did not hesitate in contacting them again for our recent move from Leeds to Cullingworth. From the very beginning enquiry to the last box of delivery the service was excellent and still beyond our expectations I would say it was the same or better than our previous experience 19 years ago. Thank you to Tony, Steph and Tamara in the office and the guys would did the move for us. Even when I go emotional they were so caring and supportive to us. Sam Bradley and Michael Goodchild were completely amazing and stayed with us until we were settled and the bed and the sofa were in place! Thank you to everyone at McCarthys

The actual removal men were brilliant. The 1-star is purely because of the office witch who decided to suddenly double charge us for an additional pickup that we had pre-agreed was within the price 3 times already. We called the day before removal day to confirm everything, and the power tripping lady on the phone absolutely refused to listen, refused to see reason, and insisted that if we don’t pay an extra fee, the removal won’t go ahead.<br><br>It felt like a mob shakedown. Honestly I’d never recommend using them to anyone purely because of this. To say I was angry was an understatement.<br><br>We have multiple friends and family in Leeds, and I’ll tell each and every one of them to avoid this company like the plague.<br><br>Again - the actual removal men were brilliant. It was purely the office person who shook us down for an extra payment, at the threat of cancelling our removal the day before. Completely unprofessional, and entirely unethical.

We recently used McCarthy's Removals for our move up to Harrogate from Kent, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Tony and Simon arrived as scheduled and immediately got straight to work. They packed everything with the utmost care, ensuring our belongings were handled perfectly whether they were destined for our apartment or going into storage.<br>They provided a brilliant service with a genuine smile, and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for them. Whenever there was a slight change of plan, they accommodated it effortlessly. They worked tirelessly throughout the day, and thanks to their vast experience in the process, they actually completed the packing much earlier than I had anticipated.<br>Upon arriving at the new property, Tony and Simon ensured everything was unloaded and placed into the correct rooms. They even waited around to make absolutely sure we were entirely happy with everything before they left. Overall, it was a first-class service delivered by two exceptionally helpful individuals who couldn't have looked after our belongings better if they had tried. Huge thanks to Tony and Simon!

Had a flat move with Sam and Dan on July 7th and they could not have been more helpful. Chatty, friendly, and exceedingly professional throughout. I really appreciate their Tetris skills in my storage unit too!<br><br>I would absolutely recommend McCarthy’s for any of removal needs. This is the third time I’ve used them now and they’ve never let me down.<br>-V

McCarthy's Removals managed to fit our date in, despite it being very last minute. The lads, who spent 2 days moving us on the 2 hottest days this year, were exceptional in both their professionalism and courteousness. Shining examples of how to work in difficult circumstances. Hats off to Michael, Ben, Mark and Josh. Could not recommend the team more.
