We asked 3 removal companies for quotes and McCarthy's were the most competitive. The service on the day was very impressive too. Josh M, Ben T and Alfie worked hard and were cheerful and unflappable as well. Our belongings, and the houses we were moving too and from were treated respectfully and carefully. The office team were very accommodating on date changes etc. Highly recommended!
McCarthy's provided a fantastic service - efficient, friendly and reliable! I've just had the follow up service from McCarthy's as they have delivered my house contents out of their storage and brought it up to the North East. Whilst my sister was in hospital she had to move at very short notice. The team at McCarthy’s were excellent and made the whole thing an easy experience. The movers, Adam, Ross and Josh aimed early and moved everything out of a second floor flat in the city centre to a 5th floor flat a short distance away. It took most of the day to do but the guys were really helpful, they took great care of her possessions and nothing was broken or damaged. Thanks also to Tamara for sorting the admin side out, quick and easy but thorough. We have no hesitation in recommending McCarthy’s Removals 😃👍
Excellent service from the whole team - Tamara in the office & Adam, Ben, Ollie & Reece on the day. Arrived on time, loaded the van carefully with protector mats and straps then safely moved everything to the new house efficiently and with good humour - despite the weather. Following a house move in 2002, 23 years later it was time to move again and was genuinely impressed by the quality of the team. Right from the initial consultation visit to the time they had finished unpacking and left our new home. Truly an excellent service, with lots of pre-care and attention to moving valuables (tv's, pictures and paintings) and some real though into bringing one-use covers for mattresses and additional boxes for bedding used the night before the big day (honestly what a good idea). They even put on door and banister protection and plastic roll so the carpet/floor is clean for the new owners! Really brilliant team that we had. Nothing was an issue when we needed items put in particular spots and also plumbing in the washing machine. Still impressive after so many years!
