Quoted £4,500 to fix some lead flashing and replace a few slates. Managed to get the job done by a trusted roofer for £800. Edit to respond to response: quote included replacing my “back guttering”, which isn’t even mine as it’s a back to back terrace! I didn’t ask for anything more than replacing the flashing and a few loose tiles. Quote also stated 10-15 dodgy tiles, when in fact there were 4. You never said you were too busy to do the job, we just didn’t respond to the absurd quote and went elsewhere because the price was mental. Appreciate that doing it without scaffolding was unconventional, but we had another quote for £1,500 from a roofer who would’ve scaffolded, so £4,500 for things we didn’t even ask for seems a wee bit bizarre to me. Responding “Indian scammer” to half of your negative reviews is also a red flag. Not sure I’m the one being dishonest here. EDIT 2: because this is getting silly. “the guy who was there” was my girlfriend, as I was at work when you came to do the quote. She’s neither my tenant, nor a guy. I’m also pretty damn certain she didn’t ask you to quote for the back guttering, as the back guttering is our neighbour’s house. I like to think we’re nice people, but we’re not quite that generous. I would recommend that you stop digging a hole for yourself, as you’ve blatantly lied about what we requested a quote for, and in stating that you told us you were too busy to do the job. I appreciate that the roofer we used in the end was unconventional, but he also has 40 years experience and was very confident in doing the job. Getting aggressive in the face of criticism isn’t a good look for you or your business, and neither is flat-out lying because you think you can squeeze a few grand out of a young couple.

We recently had a roof leak after heavy rain. Even though they were stacked out with work, Ben made time for us and had his team out the very same day. They truly went above and beyond. Excellent service and workmanship — highly recommend!

Arranged to call round and give a quote. Never turned up. No explanation. Update: I am not fake, Indian or a scammer. I live in North Leeds and posted a fair 3 star review as you did not turn up. I think you are mixing me up with some 1 star reviews you've just received.

Delighted with the service from Ben and his team. Ben was incredibly responsive in the lead up to the work being done and was always at the end of the phone to answer any questions. The scaffolding went up the day before and came down the day after with no issues. The team that did the work on our roof were brilliant. They were incredibly professional and polite. They checked in with us on the day to verify the work that was to be done. They were very considerate whilst doing the work. It was completed to an excellent standard and they left the place neat and tidy afterwards. We would highly recommend Leeds and District Roofing. Thank you Ben and team!
