We bought a Solidoor 'Barn Door' to replace our ageing back door. A Barn Door can open fully as a normal door, or just the top panel, so as to receive parcels (and stop dogs escaping...). Renovate's details were shown on a list of preferred installers that Solidoor sent us. Renovate conducted a survey of our current door and frame and then gave us an installation date. Glynn from Renovate arrived with the new door at the appointed time and quickly made friends with our dogs. He explained what he was going to do, approximately how long it would take, and then got on with the job. Well within his predicted completion time Glynn had removed our old door, cleared and prepared the frame, and fitted the new door. He then talked my wife and I through the security aspects of it. The door came with two Ultion locks (upper and lower panels) fitted with 'Thumbturn' cylinders. In the event of a fire, one doesn't have to find two keys to unlock both panels from the inside, but simply twist each thumbturn finger-grip to swiftly unlock them. Three keys are supplied to provide a high level of secure external protection. Glynn made a beautiful job of the installation, removed all rubble and waste, along with our old door too. We are extremely pleased with the final result and are happy to fully recommend Renovate for this work.
