I instructed George to prepare drawings for an extension & full remodel of an 1890s end terrace in Hawkshaw, Bury. I briefed him on what my requirements were and the drawings he prepared ticked all the important boxes. George dealt with the planning application (which included a 1st floor walk on veranda) and he managed to secure planning permission within a couple of months. George also procured a structural engineer to prepare a calculations pack. Building works should commence in summer 2026 and George will stay involved throughout the process. My experience with George so far has been very positive and I would recommend him without hesitation.<br>Michael Parkinson

I had tried for a number of years to get PP for an extention to our detached bungalow. As I had used up all my permitted development rights, I'd spoken to half a dozen architects all saying the same thing "no chance". A friend mentioned George Barr. My wife and I thought "right last chance, after this we totally forget it". We were over the moon when we got the letter from the council giving permission to carry on. Not only that but we changed the plans twice and again with George's help these were past with no objections. I cannot thank George enough for all his help. I unreservedly recommend George's company.
