Following a personal accident in New York, I negotiated a settlement figure with the insurers in the US. To facilitate international payment and to comply with the terms of the agreement I needed the services of a Notary Public. Sally was recommended to me by a partner in a law firm. I sent a message to Sally in the early hours of the morning when I was struggling to sleep due to a concern of mine regarding my father who is in intensive care. Sally replied shortly after advising me that she wasn't currently working, but went onto to very kindly give some excellent, reassuring advice.

So imagine being at a cruise terminal with a grandchild and not being allowed to board because the consent to travel, signed by mum, was not notarised. Then add it’s a bank holiday Saturday and the stress is palpable. With 2 hours to departure, Sally did everything, went above and beyond, to get that consent motorised. Sally quickly and efficiently arranged for our marriage certificate to be apostilled to support with my dependent visa application to move to Malaysia with my husband. When I reached out to Sally, she was the 3rd lawyer I had spoken with that day (and about the 7th person I had spoken with in relation to my query) and upon her reviewing the requirements, she was able to quickly correct my misunderstanding of the process. Sally could have continued with my original, more costly, request without bothering to read through what I had sent to her (which is the kind of support I had received from others that day). A day which had been extremely stressful day was quickly turned around, all because Sally took the time to understand exactly what it was that I needed. I am extremely grateful for her service and would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone!
