Following a personal accident in New York, I negotiated a settlement figure with the insurers in the US. To facilitate international payment and to comply with the terms of the agreement I needed the services of a Notary Public. Sally was recommended to me by a partner in a law firm. I sent a message to Sally in the early hours of the morning when I was struggling to sleep due to a concern of mine regarding my father who is in intensive care. Sally replied shortly after advising me that she wasn't currently working, but went onto to very kindly give some excellent, reassuring advice.

So imagine being at a cruise terminal with a grandchild and not being allowed to board because the consent to travel, signed by mum, was not notarised. Then add it’s a bank holiday Saturday and the stress is palpable. With 2 hours to departure, Sally did everything, went above and beyond, to get that consent motorised. In the words of an old add, Sally took the drama out of a crisis. This is a public shout out and thanks from us all.

Absolutely excellent service by Ms Ashkenazi. I had a fairly complex case, requiring a POA abroad, and was very new to legal proceedings. She took the time to carefully advise and explain any questions and difficulty understanding that I had, making sure everything was crystal clear to me. Sally quickly and efficiently arranged for our marriage certificate to be apostilled to support with my dependent visa application to move to Malaysia with my husband. When I reached out to Sally, she was the 3rd lawyer I had spoken with that day (and about the 7th person I had spoken with in relation to my query) and upon her reviewing the requirements, she was able to quickly correct my misunderstanding of the process.
