Sean Duffy CPM directors .. Why has my service charged doubled from 240 per month to £447 per month ? I had one invoice at the start of the year that was already doubled from the year before it’s gone up £300 in two years, why are you spending money you don’t have and making people homeless ? Where is the concept in that ?? Updated May 2025 Sean Duffy - What’s going on with the Gate ?? You double the service charge then leave our car park unsecure for 8 months ?? Shambolic !! Gate on the building has been out of service for months, they then had the cheek to send an email out reminding residents to park in the correct spot even though it’s a free for all left open to the public. They manage a building where I own an apartment that I have had for 18 years. They recently took it over from another company that I had direct debit set up with. When I worked abroad and in the army I would sometimes fall behind due to lack of communication but it was never a problem for me or the old management company. Once these lot took over and are now demanding 6 months upfront and if you don’t pay it within 15 days they set legal charges on you and tell you they can’t communicate until you pay everything. They send daily emails about work they are supposedly going to carry out, lifts that I don’t use because my apartment is on the ground floor but nothing personal client centred it’s all just spam to me. Owned the apartment 18 years and never had a problem with the previous management company, these lot are rude and don’t care about the residents. I am investigating their failings and if I find good grounds I’ll get my own solicitor. Paying bills isn’t a problem for me but being treated like a criminal in my own home is. Being bullied for 6 months maintenance charges isn’t fair. The only company never did it in 18 years . I called them and there accounts office were still very rude telling me to talk with the solicitors. Horrible experience!! I have paid until January 2025 for maintenance that hasn’t happened and they have set over 600£ legal charges because they say I was late, work that one out ! It’s October 2024

Central Property Management failed to make any reasonable effort to contact me before escalating a service charge issue to solicitors and adding legal fees - all of this was due to their mess handover with the building's previous management agent. Their handling of my formal complaint was dismissive, failing to address specific concerns or provide proper escalation information as required under industry standards. The entire process was heavy-handed, lacking fairness and transparency. To add to the insult, the building continues to be poorly managed, despite significantly higher service charges. I would not recommend CPM to any leaseholder seeking professional or accountable management.

Fantastic service! They took over our building recently, inheriting a lot of issues from the old building management company, and they've been fantastic sorting it all out. There was leak damage in my flat from the previous company delaying fixing it, and CPM fixed every bit of damage to the walls and floors. Emma kept me in the loop throughout the whole process and was an absolute delight to speak to every time. They've improved our building in loads of little ways that really add up.
