I recently purchased a property through the Whitegates, and my experience was very positive from start to finish. The agents did an excellent job showing me the house, and I appreciated having two viewings before making my decision. The second viewing, in particular, stood out. The agent was knowledgeable about the property and answered all my questions clearly and confidently. At the same time, I never felt pressured, which made the whole experience much more comfortable. Once my offer was accepted, the buying process took around 3.5 months, which was especially reasonable considering it included the Christmas period. Throughout that time, the agency was responsive and helpful with every query I had. I also appreciated their flexibility—when I wanted to check the condition of the white goods later on, they arranged it without any issues. Overall, I found the team professional, efficient, and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend Whitegates to anyone looking to buy a home.

Zaklina has been incredibly helpful during my house-buying journey. Even though I’m still in the process of finding the right home, she has been very friendly, responsive, and supportive throughout. Horrendous experience – I would not recommend at all. Our offer on a property was provisionally accepted, and we were moving forward on the basis that we were selling our own property to purchase it. Despite this, the seller later accepted another offer. What made the situation worse was that Whitegates did not contact us to inform us – we had to find out indirectly. When we were eventually told, the staff member was rude and showed no compassion, despite being aware that we had already begun progressing our own sale based on the purchase. Another concern was being told that our offer would need to be “validated” by Indigo Mortgages. We were then contacted by someone claiming to be from Indigo, who later said they were actually calling from Whitegates. This felt misleading and raised serious concerns about transparency. Since then, we have also been informed that offers may only be put forward if you use their associated mortgage broker, which makes us question whether our offer was ever genuinely presented to the seller despite being told it had been provisionally accepted. Overall, extremely disappointing service and a very unprofessional experience. I would strongly suggest that buyers consider other estate agents.

I bought a bungalow through Whitegates and can honestly say they are so accommodating to the buyer and sellers needs. Whenever you go into the shop all staff are so attentive. A big thank you to all the staff especially Ross and Oliver who mainly dealt with us.

Currently selling a house with Whitegates, and the experience so far has been great. Bernie is amazing, and came to value the house within 48 hours of me calling and the property was up for sale the next week. Zaklina has been amazing, keeping me updated on each step. Would recommend to anyone selling a property.
