There really aren’t enough words to describe how helpful Greg has been and how valuable his expertise is. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is clearly an expert in his field and an all-round great person. His structural calculations were excellent for our knock through. He is friendly, professional, efficient and approachable and he has repeatedly gone above and beyond to help us when unexpected issues have cropped up in our renovation. We contacted Greg to get advice on the structural integrity of our roof timbers, and to draw up weight calculations for a roof that had previously had slate tiles replaced with concrete tiles, both to satisfy lender requirements on our house, that we planned to sell. Greg was helpful from the outset, offering advice. He then sent a fair quote for a full report. He attended our house, and carefully inspected the items we'd agreed upon. The report was thorough, and explained everything in detail. He then organised contractors to come in to strengthen a selection timbers, to ensure structural integrity in the roof. The contractors were friendly, professional, always on time, and completed the work to great standard. He turned around the work very quickly for us, which allowed us to list our house on the market promptly. I had to call and email Greg a few times to discuss things, and he was always happy to help, and continued to offer advice. The completed work was signed off by Greg, and he provided a completion report. He also advised on how to apply for building regs from the council during the process. All work was signed off by the council and we received their certificates after they'd inspected the work and calculations. Really can't recommend Greg (and the contractors he used) enough. A really positive experience. Thank you!

I used Greg because the price for an inspection to see if my wall was load bearing was very good, with the main chunk of the cost only coming if it was load bearing for the reports and stuff, whereas most competitors were charging pretty much fully price regardless. It did turn out to be he load bearing, but even still the price turned out a bit cheaper than any decent rated company out there. In terms of the actual work, Greg was a nice fella, explained things well once he had took measurements and stuff, and emailed me the report ober in reasonable time, so I've now got calculations and stuff that I can give to a builder for a steel beam.

We can’t recommend Greg highly enough. We contacted him after our homebuyer’s survey flagged some potential structural issues with the house we’re buying, and he was incredibly quick to respond. Greg read through the existing report and came back to us with clear, helpful advice in under 24 hours, along with a very reasonable quote.
