Liverpool Tree Care removed a large bay tree for us that was too large for the garden, impinging on next door's extension & in an inappropriate location for us, while reaching roof level of a 2 bed semi. We used Liverpool Tree Care Services because they are very local to us & because when Mat came round to quote for the job he was clearly very knowledgeable, genuinely interested and concerned for the environment. He gave us advice relevant for applying to the Council for tree work permission which was required because we are on the edge of the Sefton Park conversation area. The guys made incredibly quick work on the bay tree. A very neat and well organised job. Including taking the trunk down right next to the fence without any damage to the fence at all. The garden is much lighter after the work and my wife can plant a fruit tree in this spot once we get the stump ground, which the team also advised us on. Ben, Dan and Jason did a great job on the day, completed within three hours and with the branches and wood neatly chipped apart from some logs and sections of trunk we have kept to give away.

The second time I have chosen Liverpool Tree Care Services Ltd. On both occasions, not a trace of mess left behind after their work - only a fine tree. Matt and company prioritise both tree and ecological health. Matt and company are knowledgeable and skilled. Matt gave me generous time to teach me about urban tree health; ecology; and actual (not commonly believed) issues of trees near buildings. I will always go back to Liverpool Tree Care Services Ltd.

Our beloved Willow Tree sadly had a fungal infection so we called in the expert, Matt Welch at Liverpool Tree Services Ltd who gave us objective professional advice to have it pollarded and the infected area removed. Matt and his team attended on time and undertook the work highly skilfully and professionally. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards as well. The team were friendly and respectful the whole time. The tree was under a TPO and Matt made the successful application to Liverpool City Council without difficulty. The price was very fair and we can highly recommend this company. Thanks a lot to Matt and his team!

Excellent Service - work done while away which worked well. Price was best offer from numerous quotes. Mat was the only quote that I felt was from someone who had a wealth of knowledge and passion for his job. Plus he was mindful of value for money in seeing what other work could be done to fill the booking time slot. Highly recommend.

I came across LTCS whilst searching on-line for someone to cut down a massive willow tree, conifer tree (both of which had enormous roots lifting the lawn and the flags up on my path) and a couple of smaller trees which had partly blown over in the strong winds in my garden. My parents recommended someone who had done work for them and I looked into them. I received a price from them and also LTCS; were both similar but overall, I felt that LTCS would do a better job. Their reviews were excellent, the website showed a large portfolio, a broad range of their skills including pictures and Mat, who dealt with us came across as professional, knowledgeable, friendly and confident. I couldn’t have asked for a better team of workers. I was amazed at how adept and efficient the four men were, faced with such a mammoth job. They all had their roles and worked together with an organized and safe approach. The trees were cut down to a stump and all of the branches and wood were taken away, chipped into a machine and the garden left tidied up. The following week, the stump grinder, Paul who came highly recommended by Mat and who has worked with LTCS for a number of years, came to remove the tree stumps and massive roots. Again, a job professionally and efficiently carried out and a friendly worker. I’m delighted with the results (a nice flat surface for my wheelchair and so much lighter in my garden) and I wouldn’t hesitate to use LTS again. Liz and Sean.
