Booked Elvis to inspect damp in my property mid May 2025. He said the visit would cost £50 and that he would provide a report. On the day of inspection, Elvis arrived late, the inspection itself lasted less than 5 minutes and only involved briefly looking at the wall. No damp testing equipment or moisture meter was used. The next day he texted me his bank details for the £50, which I paid and now regret. I did not receive the promised report or a quote. After repeatedly chasing, I finally received a text message half a month later in April saying 'the quote was nearly ready, £2,300 for the living room, the bedroom will work out properly in the week, send me another reminder'. When I called again at the end of May for the report/quote, Elvis said he wasn’t sure if he could do the job due to lack of time and knee pain. I would NOT recommend and don't make the mistake of paying £50 for nothing.
Elvis was absolutely fantastic! He is accountable, reliable and responsive. His prices are very fair and he finished the job to a very high standard. We had a damp patch in our kitchen wall. Elvis came to have a look at it and he then sent us a quote that same evening. He said that the work would take 4 days and that we was able to start on Monday (he first came on the Thursday). On Monday, Elvis arrived on time and continued to do so all 4 days. He finished the job within the timeframe he promised and the end result was excellent. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you, Elvis.
Elvis was fantastic! Have our home a thorough look over with lots of great advice before staying the damp proofing work in our bay window. The work took 5 days and has been finished to a really high standard. Elvis is such a lovely guy so was a pleasure having him around! Huge thanks Elvis!
I needed Elvis on a home emergency after a loft clearance company managed two feet through my ceiling. Elvis turned up same day and fixed it brilliantly. He is a plasterer and damp proofer of the old school and really knows what he is doing. I’ve known him longer than my kids who have grown up now and he’s never let me down and always done a good job for a fair price, with a smile ! Top drawer. He’s done both plastering and damp proofing for me and I’ve never had any complaints, or problems with his work. Keep going fella !
