Ordered 9 rolls of Ralph Lauren “Swingtime Herringbone” wallpaper, described as “paste the wall for easy installation.” In practice, installation by experienced decorators resulted in the glass bead finish shedding during normal handling and dispersing onto hands, tools, paste and surrounding surfaces, leading to an unacceptable finish.<br><br>I supplied video evidence showing the issue developing under real installation conditions. The response was that this behaviour is “normal” and attributable to installation technique, with reliance on a separate instruction sheet included in the packaging.<br><br>If “easy installation” in this context requires brushing loose beads from the back, preventing any bead contact with pasted surfaces, and managing static so that particles do not reattach to the face, that is not something a customer would reasonably infer from the product description.<br><br>Seven unused rolls were accepted back after 92 days, but a 20% restocking charge was still applied. Two rolls used during installation attempts were not refunded.<br><br>For context, a different Ralph Lauren wallpaper was installed immediately afterwards by the same decorators without issue — which rather narrows the variable.<br><br>Communication was polite throughout. The outcome, however, highlights a disconnect between how this product is marketed and how it performs in normal use. Buyers should clarify installation requirements very carefully before purchasing.

‘Next day delivery’ available on this item, ordered on the 4th of June.<br><br>It’s the 19th and still nothing. No email. No apology. No update. Just a reply to my query as to where my order was with a lie - “we left you a voicemail”. There is no voicemail facility on my phone.<br><br>Sadly, despite the good reviews, I won’t be back. It’s been shambolic from start to finish.<br><br>Edited to add:<br>This review was posted to TrustPilot, where the business owner apologising and promising better, but I have since received communication cancelling my order due to the review I have left.<br><br>Incredibly unprofessional behaviour from a person who seems to be offended that a customer might expect their business to deliver on their promises.<br><br>“I dialled the wrong number” is their genuine reason for not getting in touch with details of the delay to my order.<br><br>Incredible.

Ordered paper and was sent wrong item x 2.<br>Said I'd send it back, uplift arranged without checking my printer was working.<br>I ordered a 2nd roll as its on sale, in case they ran out.<br>Uplift booked yesterday but I was told today I live in a remote area. I'm 10 mins from city centre.<br>6 days later, I'm still awaiting the wrong paper to be uplifted, and I've received not 1 roll of the paper I ordered.<br>Company said ill receive 1 roll plus refund for 1 AFTER the paper they sent by mistake is sent back.<br>Fir the 2nd day, I'm sitting at home waiting on a courier picking up my paper, have no paper to finish my hall, and have no money to buy more.<br>The 2nd purchase has absolutely nothing to do with the first and tgem sending wrong order.<br>Disgraceful customer service.<br>Update- paper sent back yesterday, they still refused my refund because I posted this review. Contacted my bank for advice, I've to wait 5 days then action will be taken.<br>This could have been easily resolved by refunding y 2nd roll or sending it out to me.

Easy to get a good sized sample, easy to order, packaged well for delivery and easy to return 1 excess roll.<br>The paper was excellent quality and easy to hang. I pasted the paper instead of the wall (old school!) with no issues.<br>Would I use Designer Wallpapers again … definitely

Drop ship company. Our order took several weeks not “free next day” as stipulated on website. Unhelpful staff when trying to expedite. Would not recommend. Best to order direct from the manufacturer.
