Third Space Soho
Premium London gym with excellent instructors and facilities, though pricing and ongoing renovations concern long-term members.
What customers love
- Experienced instructors with strong retention (Greg, Cathy, Maddie, Gaby)
- Clean, well-equipped facilities with unique amenities and atmosphere
- Welcoming, proactive staff and concierge teams (Nazima, Fergal, Jon)
Worth noting
- Recurring annual price increases without corresponding member benefits
- Recent renovation disruptions and questionable design decisions affecting unique features
Best for
Fitness-focused professionals in central London seeking premium classes and community-driven gym experience.

I’ve had an incredible experience at Third Space, and a huge part of that is thanks to Liam Santos. He’s an exceptional personal trainer who genuinely cares about his clients’ progress.

Since training with Liam, I’ve not only become noticeably stronger physically, but my sessions have also become an important reset for my mental wellbeing each week. He knows how to challenge you while keeping every session motivating, supportive, and enjoyable.

I couldn’t recommend Liam more highly to anyone looking to get stronger, build confidence, or simply invest in themselves. If you’re looking for a trainer who will genuinely help you grow, Liam is the one.
Gym has an old school Asian gym feel to it which is good. Cardio and recover areas arey favourite. I wish they put the free weights area on this floor rather than in the 1st floor. The 2 reasons why I gave this Third Space branch 4 stars was because they do not have reservations for normatec boots and reception staff did not take me around the club despite saying to them that I’m new to the club. This branch has only have two chairs and it’s kind of unfair people are hogging them.
Ridiculously overpriced food with portions that don’t align with the cost. Flavour isn’t there either.
Shane is the best - can take all of my anger out on him on Saturday morning kick boxing class!
Great club, all the equipment you need and very helpful staff
Honestly the best gym to go to if you enjoy clean spaces with plenty of amenities (good quality products).
— Update —
Since my original review (below)

This place is REALLY going downhill FAST. I’ve been going here since 2019 and it’s like someone has gone in and sabotaged the whole thing with their so-called “transformation” that NOBODY wants. Were the plans drawn up by A.I.? They’re removing desirable and unique features and chasing people away in the process.

One look at the computer-generated image of what the former hypoxic chamber will turn into (a cramped watt-bike studio with no room for humans to even use the equipment) shows how stupid this whole thing is, especially since they already had a watt bike space, but they’ve decided to delete an impressive performance feature to move it (doesn’t make sense!!) like, people are going to be bashing their knees and elbows into the walls and windows, not to mention the smell of steam and sweat generated by 10 people in a 6x3ft room!

The vibe is going from trendy creative Soho chic to suburban yummy mummy. Like, it’s SoHO, not Whetstone!! Yucky!!! Somebody backtrack on this demolition before it’s too late!

The staff has remained great as always, but WTH is corporate doing to this iconic OG location?? There is also a noticeable deterioration in cleanliness and clientele because it’s noticeably overcrowded with a new transient crowd that don’t care about what made SOHO a unique space!

———

Really great environment to work out in. The staff are great, it's always really clean, has great amenities, and has a cool, unique vibe.
I love Third Space Soho — it’s genuinely well worth the money. The gym is always clean, spacious and really well equipped, with everything you need for a great workout. The staff are also friendly and welcoming, which makes such a difference. THE best gym I’ve been to.
I’ve been a member for over a year. The gym is great but what makes it so great is the greeting you get when you walk through the door, Nazima in particular. We live in such a fast paced city but sometimes it’s the hello and smile that makes your day.
