Plumus did a great job coming out to fix a burst water pipe. Communication and contact was easy and clear with a text confirmation of the job and the plumber came out within an hour. Craig was competent and professional and quickly identified and repaired the issue with a flexible hose that had ruptured behind the bathroom wall. He was able to source and replace the tap and hose quickly, tested the result and importantly he accessed the area and sealed up the access panel with the same coloured silicone as before so the area looked just as it did before the repair job. Full written invoice and easy payment with reasonable rates for the work done. Really efficient, friendly and would definitely use again.
Used Plumus for the full plumbing fit-out of my café and couldn't be happier with the result. Luke handled everything — and it wasn't a straightforward job. The waste pipe heights presented a real challenge, but he found a practical solution without any fuss and got it done properly. Water and waste lines are critical in a smoothie bar, so getting this right really mattered. Luke brought the right combination of technical know-how and a calm, solution-oriented approach that made the whole process easy. He's also just a genuinely good person to have on site — professional, communicative, and easy to be around. Plumus are transparent with their pricing — you know exactly what you're paying for before anything starts. Could I have found cheaper? Probably. But with plumbing, cheap has a way of coming back to bite you. With Luke's work, I'm confident it'll hold up long-term. The 12-month warranty backs that up too. Highly recommend — will absolutely use them again.
Excellent service from Matt! He was professional, punctual, and explained everything clearly before starting the work. The plumbing issue was fixed quickly and to a very high standard. Friendly, reliable, and left everything clean and tidy afterwards. I’d definitely recommend Matt to anyone looking for a trustworthy plumbing engineer. Great experience from start to finish!
James did a great job. He was on time, knew exactly what to do and where the problem was. He had all the tools equipment and repair parts needed. The issue was fixed promptly. He also gave me valuable advice about how to make the heating more efficient and convenient as well as basic troubleshooting. I cannot recommend his services enough.
We had the misfortune to require a drainage engineer last week. The ground floor toilet started to fail to flush and it was backing up, and an elderly relative was staying with us which made the situation even more urgent to fix. I called someone I'd used for drainage work before when we had a blocked sink but they couldn't help until Monday, and today was Thursday. So I called Plumus who we're able to send someone out in an hour. James was excellent, immediately realising that it was only after a number of flushes the toilet would back up, and immediately lifted the manhole in our living room (its an extension). The Manhole was hidden under the floor and was tricky to access but he managed it in about 10 minutes only to find the manhole completely full. He immediately went and checked the Manhole out the front of the house and that was also full. He managed to clear the blockage with a water jet and both manholes started to empty. I was so relieved that my relative would be able to use the downstairs loo as they could not have made it upstairs. It was suggested that I had the manholes and channels all cleaned and inspected with a camera which could be done first thing in the morning- No pressure was put on me and I thought this, a good idea. Craig from Plumus arrived just after 8am the following morning and proceeded to clean all parts of the drainage system and then used a camera to inspect the drains under and at the front of the house. Luckily nothing was found which could have caused the blockage but we were told that it could have been there a very long time. Craig did spot a place in the outside drainage which may have collapsed as salt glaze pipe work was found in the channel along with stones which were hoovered out. The camera however was not able to get around a bend to see if the debris was from the soil-pipe at the front of the house. He suggested cutting an access point into the 120 year old soil-pipe so that the camera might get a better view and confirm if there was any damage that required more attention. It was felt this was not the cause of the original blockage but that further investigation should be made and he draw up a costing for the work which will not change even if we get the work done in a few months. I found James and Craig from Plumus outstanding. On time, quick but thorough, very good explanation of what they were doing and why. I have absolutely nothing but thanks for their professionalism and work. The initial unblocking cost £180 (took ~45 minutes and its £150+vat for the first hour) and the subsequent survey, £970 including VAT (5 hours of work). The proposed further investigation has been priced at £480 all in. These type of issues come out of the blue and are never nice and always pricey but James and Craig from Plumus made it a straightforward and pleasant experience. They ensured the property was not damaged by their equipment and cleaned up very well. I would highly recommend Plumus, and specifically James and Craig for any similar work.
