Story of Home

Based on the positive reviews I reached out to this agent to list my property. Having answered many questions and supplied numerous comparables (more reasonably what an agent should do) I never heard back from the agent as promised or at all. He refused to pick up my calls and did not respond once to my follow up enquiries. In the end I called the office (perhaps just a messaging service). It seems to be a very small team with no quality control nor other administrative measures to maintain service levels. I had high hopes for this new offering but the local agents seem positively attentive in comparison!

Stuart and Sara were fantastic to work with. Professional, warm, and genuinely personable, bringing a refreshing approach to selling our home. They understood the emotional side of selling our home, worked incredibly hard, and provided a truly personal service. We felt supported throughout, and they showcased our house beautifully. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Story of Home again and highly recommend them.

Stuart and Sara did an excellent job selling our flat. It was not an easy sale at all, with tricky requests from the buyer to manage. They went the extra mile to liaise between all parties, and were very calm under pressure. I appreciate them working so hard to make it all happen.

Story of Home are differentiated by their focus on design led homes and understanding of how to market them, even in a trickier than normal market. As a result, our lovely home was not on the market for very long with the Story of Home team before we were into a transaction process that competed successfully. Alex and the Story of Home team were very professional, they took time to understand the house, how the design worked and how it made living in the house easy and pleasure. The photography was first class, showing the design clearly and strikingly, particularly how the light flowed throughout the house. The Tales of City feature allowed Barbara Weiss, the architect, to speak to the design concept and development which added depth and context well beyond a normal sale prospectus. Communications throughout the process were efficient and effective, the portal worked very well. It was a pleasure to work with Alex and I would not hesitate to engage Story of Home again.
