Oliver and his team did a great job. Oliver explained the whole system clearly and spent time making sure we had the right set up for us. The installation happened very quickly. We were particularly impressed with the electrician Jamie and his apprentice and with Liam the fitter. They all worked incredibly hard to get the system installed quickly and efficiently. They answered any questions we had and made sure we were happy with the installation and were able to use it straight away. Oliver also gives excellent support after installation. We would definitely recommend Sunbright.

It is an absolute pleasure to deal with a company that understand your needs, make recommendations based on their experience for you to consider without any sales pressure. Having had quotes from the large solar companies, Sunbright immediately stood out as Oliver was the first person to confirm that an Emergency Power Supply system could easily be installed in conjunction with the solar panels and batteries, something which I’d been informed couldn’t be done in the UK!! Having already experienced two power cuts since installation its reassuring to hear the clap of the EPS system switching over to the batteries within milliseconds of the grid going down, we’re only aware that there has been a power cut from the village whatsapp chat asking if anyone else has lost power! As mentioned by other reviews, Oliver kept me informed of all developments and timings. The installation went very smoothly, with everyone involved from the scaffolders, the roofing team to the electricians, all being very professional and polite. All the teams cleaned up any mess after they had completed the install. Oliver even arranged for the scaffolding to stay up for a month after the solar installation so that windows could be repaired and painted. What really stands out about Sunbright Energy is the honesty that Oliver provides in that he will tell you upfront if there are other cheaper options. For example, I wanted in-roof solar panels fitted, as I concerned about the additional weight of the panels (400kg) on the roof of an old converted stable. Oliver informed me that this could be done but it wasn’t the cheapest option, he highlighted the price difference for an in-roof and on roof system so that I could make an informed decision. Another key factor is the after sales service that Oliver offers in that he will provide advice on managing the app that controls the invertor, to get the best out of the system, he also strongly advised me to join Axle Energy to take advantage of the £1 per KW when power is taken from your battery during a grid event. If you’re thinking about installing solar panels or batteries, I would highly recommend Sunbright Energy, it’s refreshing to deal with a company that want to provide a high quality service from the outset.

Partway through the process, we decided to add an EV charger. I contacted Oliver and received a revised quote the same day, which was straightforward and competitively priced. It felt like no trouble at all to adapt the plan. After the initial install, we realised we could benefit from a few additional panels. Even though I was away at the time, my wife felt completely comfortable contacting Oliver directly - something she wouldn’t usually do. The additional work was arranged quickly, and the second installation was completed efficiently and to the same high standard. There was one minor hiccup with the scaffolding schedule when it needed to be repositioned at short notice. The team didn’t arrive on the expected day, but what stood out was how it was handled - Oliver responded immediately, apologised, and arranged for the scaffolding company to contact us directly. It was resolved quickly, and we felt well looked after throughout. That level of accountability made a strong impression. The system itself has now been running for a few weeks and is performing well. Everything is working as expected, with no issues or unexpected downsides. It’s genuinely satisfying knowing that much of our electricity use is now being powered by solar. Throughout the process, Oliver was also very helpful in answering more technical questions - everything from system optimisation to exporting excess electricity and DNO permissions. He was always responsive and professional, which made a big difference in feeling confident about the investment. Overall, I’d have no hesitation recommending Sunbright Energy Ltd. The combination of strong communication, technical competence, flexibility, and professionalism made the whole experience straightforward and reassuring.

In my search for a highly rated Solar expert 2 years ago when I had a problem with my existing installation,I was very lucky to come across Sunbright Energy and was even luckier to be speaking to the MD Oliver who immediately came across as a very personable person as born out by many Google reviews I had read. His technical knowledge was very impressive and gave me great confidence to find a solution to my problem with minimum outlay. More recently I rang them again and found myself speaking to him again-this is so re-assuring to see that the MD of a firm,when available, makes a point of answering in person,something so rare in today's climate and is good to see that his approach had not wavered over the 2 years of my first contact! Oliver runs a highly competant team and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for new installations and service afterwards where quality and price is an important factor together with the personal touch.
