Green and Wood Garden Design

We are delighted with the job done by Jo Pilgrim (Green and Wood) on our back garden. Jo clearly has used her vast experience to get the most out of a lovely design.<br><br>Our garden now has so many points of interest. It looks clean and modern and Jo’s choice and positioning of planting is just ideal.<br><br>The whole space looks much larger and we have various seating areas where we can view the garden from different positions.<br><br>All thanks to Everest Garden Landscapes (one of Jo’s recommended), for doing a first rate job exactly to her drawing specification.<br><br>Now we can look forward to the years ahead in our restful garden space!

We wanted a total garden redesign, so we got Jo in to help. She was brilliant from start to finish. She drew up multiple plans, giving us lots of options, until we decided on one that was just right. She has a great knowledge of plants and chose a beautiful selection for our borders. We absolutely love the finished garden. Couldn’t recommend Jo highly enough.

We would highly recommend Jo for her garden design services! We had a fairly large and very uninspiring garden that was not very accessible for our small child with mobility issues. Jo took a lot of time to talk to us about our requirements, to draw up and revise plans, to help us choose materials, and to work with the landscapers to clarify questions and spot the plants. She has been available throughout the whole process and we are so pleased with our finished garden.

Jo was superb at every stage of our design journey. Jo was really attentive and listened to our needs from the off and helped us decide on major parts of the garden layout with her experience being offered and helping us form our choices, rather than over riding and driving our decision. We had multiple draft designs and I will be honest, we were extremely `picky' and had our eyes over every small detail along the way, something that Jo took in her stride and delivered at every level.<br>We sourced our own landscapers and Jo assisted at every stage when called upon to help them deliver the design at site, something that I know the landscapers appreciated.<br>When it came to the fun part, the laying out of and taking deliveries of all the plants and flowers, Jo jumped into action once again and helped us massively with the initial lay out.<br>All in all we have an absolutely fantastic front and back garden which brings us enjoyment every single day, it has been a real joy to watch it grow this first season and we look forward to entertaining and using the space for years to come. We still get compliments from passers by and I still find myself being lifted by it each day when I return home.<br>Thanks Jo!

We used Jo to design a completely new garden for us at the same time as our house renovation, and she is a joy to work with. So calming and thoughtful, and intuitive about her clients, taking time to understand their needs, likes and dislikes. She is so knowledgeable about plants and what would work well in our garden. During the planning stage we met several times, and Jo talked us through our options until we arrived at a final design. She then took time to send us samples of materials, so we were involved at every stage. Once all the decisions had been made, we were able to hand over Jo's plan to a team of garden landscapers who brought the design to life. Throughout this process Jo remained accessible, involved, and helpful regarding any design queries, and planning the planting. Planting was done by Jo and her colleague. Since the garden was completed, she has returned to talk me through the plants and how to manage them. I absolutely would recommend her services for a project big or small. I get so many compliments about our garden, and I still can't believe the transformation. We love it!

Wow, where do I start!<br>Me and my husband purchased a new build property a few years back, the plot we bought has a large space and as you can imagine it was plain and boring. We had discussed how we imagined we wanted the garden to look with defined areas but then it was putting it down on paper.<br>We were recommended Jo, and boy are we glad we reached out. From the very start Jo is superb at what she does and she listened to what we were looking for. The project finally finished in October and we can honestly say with Jo’s wonderful design and work from the landscapers, the transformation far exceeded our expectations!
