247 Manchester Locksmith

I was promised an invoice 1/7/26 but haven’t received it and they are completely ignoring messages and calls. Great service but unsuitable if you need a landlord to reimburse you.

Waited over an hour for someone to show up and tell me they can't unlock my door without drilling into it. They tried my own key in the door and then charged me £49 for this ridiculous service. I understand paying for someone's time but I've been scammed. All the 'locksmith' did was wiggle MY OWN key in the door and then told me he couldn't fix it.

I locked myself out of my own flat by bending the key on the way out. I had a call within an hour at 11pm. I bent the key back and got in. I offered to pay but because they hadn't arrived, no charge. They could of charged for the inconvenience. 5 🌟

Deniss was very quick to respond, arrived within 15 minutes and got me into my apartment whilst changing the locks and giving me a new set of keys in quick time, He was very friendly, professional and overall it was an amazing experience and to top everything off the price was very fair, cheap and better than any locksmith I looked up. I would highly recommend this service

Denis has just done work on my uPVC door replacing all the mechanism on the door very friendly and would definitely recommend him for his professionalism and very chatty as well

AVOID USING<br>Unfortunately despite the seemingly good reviews, I have had an appalling experience using 247 Manchester Locksmiths. I chose to use this company because of the good reviews, thinking they were reliable and trustworthy. It turns out that they use subcontractors and take no responsibility for the service, actions and charges of the subcontractors. Despite 247 Manchester locksmith quoting £80 callout fee and lock changes starting from £30, the subcontractor charged over £500. The final cost was vastly inflated.<br><br>When my partner spoke to Denis on the phone, he said it should have cost no more than £180 and was audibly surprised when he realised how much I had been charged but yet said there was nothing he could do about it, which was unacceptable given I had engaged the services of his company (247 Manchester Locksmith), therefore my contract was with him.<br><br>It took a lot of chasing in the few weeks following the lock change to obtain an invoice, which was expected to come from 247 Manchester Locksmiths, but in fact came from the subcontractor. When the invoice was finally received, it became apparent that I had been charged for higher security locks than the ones I purchased. When this was raised with Denis, he again offered no help and said there was nothing he could do in regards to getting a refund.<br><br>Denis took absolutely no responsibility and offered no help. I would not have chosen to use the subcontractor because they have very poor reviews.<br><br>Avoid at all costs because you have no guarantee that Denis will actually do the work himself and you could be charged an extortionate amount.

locked my keys in my car during a trip to Manchester. He arrived in 20 minutes, exactly when he said he would, despite us being in a tricky location and worked very quickly and efficiently and gave us some great advice and service. despite us not being from the manchester area I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you!

Came out fast in the middle of the night and was a star from the offset. We needed a lock change and he did every thing he could and tried all options to help us to keep the price down. In the end we needed the barrel out and a new one in and still the price more than fair. A good man and a great service, thank you again. 10/10
