⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐<br><br>After weeks of frustration with a leaking toilet that Rightio had supposedly fixed and checked twice, the leak was still there. In desperation, I searched Google and found JB7 Plumbing and Heating.<br><br>I rang on Tuesday 30th June at around 2:30pm and spoke to Sam. Luckily, they were able to book me in for 9:00am the following morning. John arrived promptly, quickly diagnosed the problem and explained everything clearly. The fault was a slow fill and a defective fill valve, which was causing the cistern to overflow and create the persistent leak that had been missed previously.<br><br>John was kind, friendly, highly experienced and a top-quality tradesman. Thanks to the excellent teamwork of Sam and Mary, communication throughout was outstanding, and the repair was completed by 2:00pm the same day. The work was clean, tidy, efficient and carried out to a very high standard.<br><br>The difference compared with the incorrect advice, diagnosis and repair I received elsewhere was remarkable.<br><br>What I'm most pleased about is that I've found a local plumber I can genuinely trust. JB7 Plumbing and Heating are transparent, friendly, helpful, provide superb customer service and deliver excellent quality workmanship. John from JB7 Plumbing came to my rescue after a complete toilet fiasco.<br><br>The week before, I had been ripped off by another plumber who left my toilet loose, poorly secured and leaking – significantly worse than the original broken flush I had paid him to repair.<br><br>I posted the job on Checkatrade and JB7 picked it up. John came round, quickly identified the problem, explained exactly what had gone wrong and talked me through the repair. Reassuringly, he stuck to his original quote with no unexpected extras.<br><br>Once the work was complete, he gave me a thorough handover and even told me to get back in touch if I experienced any further issues.<br><br>John was professional, friendly and courteous throughout.<br><br>The toilet is now rock solid, working perfectly and completely leak-free – and all for less than the original cowboy had charged me.<br><br>I genuinely cannot recommend JB7 Plumbing highly enough. Would definitely recommend. John and the team were able to come around late to help switch the heating system on following a house move, and then organised to visit later that week to install a new boiler. They were super friendly and helpful!

Couldn’t recommend these guys more. Fast service, really lovely - sorted my leak out, installed a new tap and put in some isolation valves in less than half an hour. Reasonably priced and just great all around.

JB7 Plumbing have been fantastic from start to finish. They came to my home to replace a water heater, and John and his colleague did an excellent job installing the new boiler. They worked efficiently, were professional and friendly throughout, and left the area spotless when they finished.<br><br>I couldn't recommend them highly enough. The quality of their work and customer service was outstanding, and I'll definitely be using them again for any future plumbing needs.

Over the past year JB7 Plumbing carried out several large jobs in my flat.<br><br>They replaced a toilet other plumbers refused to touch because the piping was non-standard. JB7 took on the job and replaced it without any issues.<br><br>The stop tap was previously inaccessible and unsafe, and the kitchen fitter company told me it was impossible to move. JB7 completed the job in one day and fitted a new stop tap that I can easily access - they also took care to minimise the impact on my newly fitted kitchen.<br><br>They also fitted a bathroom sink and before fixing it in place, the plumber asked me to position it exactly where I wanted it, giving me time to think before finalising.<br><br>When there was a slight miscommunication on one of the jobs and I raised a question, John visited and addressed my concern. He didn’t have to do that because they had delivered exactly what we agreed, and everything worked fine. But he took the time and effort to listen and make sure everything worked for me.<br><br>Most recently, my very old hot water cylinder developed several serious leaks. JB7 assessed the situation, clearly explained my options, and were very patient with my worries. They explained why their proposed solution was better than replacing the cylinder like-for-like. Now it's installed I can see they were absolutely right and I'm grateful they took the time to explain the advantages! I included a pre and post photo.<br><br>Throughout this I met various members of the team (and Sam on the phone), everyone was always respectful and kind.<br><br>Thanks to their hard work, my flat has gone from a barely functioning place to a comfortable, lovely home. Dishonest plumber. Showed up, diagnosed the problem but said the toilet first needs to be removed which made sense. Tried to get the toilet lid off but couldn't manage and claimed it had been sealed down. Then said I'd have to call someone else to remove it or smash off the toilet for a few hundred..... didn't fix the shower and charged me for £50 for 10mins of faffing around. I removed the toilet lid myself the next day... Extortion and will be taking to small claims court. I tried to call to explain I had removed the lid but thev are now avoiding me. Would not recommend.<br><br>EDIT***<br>Claims I've got the wrong company but they have replied to this same review on check atrade apologising.

Amazing work by John, was very worried about my Boiler making a weird noises and immediately made me feel better and laid out the solutions for me and got to fixing it. would very much recommend
