We have engaged Settio services for 5-6 years now ever since we bought property in UK. Settio was not our first agent that we engaged, but we changed to them due to the great feedback that we had gotten from our friends. They lived up to our expectations, especially with Marcus and Paige, Marcus was very responsive, honest and open about situation of our property, provided valuable insights and guidance during different phases (I.e. changed of tenant, market sentiment, sales of our property). Couldn’t have successfully sold our property without the help of Marcus and Paige who provided tremendous help through the painful sales processes (I.e. documentation, etc). Very responsive, responsible, resourceful, knowledgeable and trust-worthy. You really need someone like him. I highly recommend Settio if you need to buy, sell or even manage your property.

My experience with Settio was disappointing. Following the end of my tenancy, a significant portion of my deposit was claimed for alleged smoke odours, despite the fact that no smoking ever took place inside the property. I strongly disagreed with these allegations and found them to be based on subjective observations rather than clear evidence. Communication throughout the deposit return process was slow, and it took over a month after the tenancy ended before the matter was finally resolved. As a tenant, I felt the process was unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming. While the deposit protection scheme ultimately handled the repayment process, I was left feeling that the check-out assessment and subsequent charges were not entirely fair. Based on my experience, I would advise future tenants to take extensive photographs and videos when moving in and moving out, and to carefully review all inventory reports and deposit deductions.

Amazing experience with Settio, particularly Liam, who has been assisting us with our apartment search over the past few weeks.
