I had a fantastic experience with The Letting Agent. After a really disappointing first rental experience in Manchester with a different agency, dealing with Ty, Liz and the team was a breath of fresh air. From day one, the experience was completely professional. The property was handed over in immaculate condition, and communication was always clear. Having a dedicated WhatsApp group for viewings made life so much easier. What impressed me most was the efficiency at the end of my tenancy. My tenancy ended on 27th April, and by 5th May (despite a Bank Holiday weekend), my deposit was returned in full. Where my previous agent deliberately delayed and tried to deduct money for faults that were there at check-in, The Letting Agent’s integrity and speed were outstanding. If you want a stress-free, professional and honest rental experience in Manchester, look no further.

In my experience with the letting agent, I felt extremely condescended in multiple issues. I was often spoken to very rudely and dismissively regardless of the issue I had, and also received quite an argumentative tone. It was my first time renting and after now dealing with decent quality service elsewhere, it reminds of how bad the letting agent truly was. Very patronising. And from looking at these reviews, I’m not the only one. We can’t all be making it up now can we.

Just to note I’m posting under my late husband’s Google account as I don’t have one. Recently my late husband’s rental flat (now mine) in Sport City became vacant after a long tenancy. I live miles away, and was rather daunted at the prospect of, not only finding a new tenant, but managing a complete refurbishment of this fully furnished flat remotely. Ty, Liz and everyone at The Letting Agent were absolutely superb. They managed the whole process for me, and the communication and advice at every stage of process was outstanding. They gave me access to practical and cost effective solutions for cleaning, repairs, decorating, and furniture packs, and also project managed the whole refurbishment with me in a timely manner.
