Great experience from quotation to installation. Competitive quote for 22 Aiko panels, Tesla Powerwall 3, Tesla Gateway 2 and Zappi EV charger. Quick installation date with pre-install survey. Andy was friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. The office staff are very responsive to queries. On install day the roofers were fantastic. The panels were installed on 2 roof aspects in a few hours. Neat and tidy job. The electricians Mo and Callum worked late into the evening to finish the job. I was shown how the systems work on the Tesla and MyEnergi apps. Good aftercare and swift issue of handover pack. All in all a great job by a great team. Now looking forward to the savings! After contacting a number of providers, I instantly knew that SMS were the team I would trust with my install of my solar solution. After an in depth discussion, we decided that the best option for my home would be to opt for a Tesla Powerwall 3 along with an expansion pack supported by 20 solar panels. The install was carefully planned and we were kept informed of all the plans and the work was executed with nothing short of excellence. Absolutely brilliant experience with SMS from start to finish. Communication throughout was excellent. They even came one day early to carry out pre-checks, which was a great touch and showed how organised they are. On installation day, they called 30 minutes before arrival and turned up exactly on time. Mo and Callum were fantastic — really professional, friendly, and patient. I spent a lot of time “bothering” them while they were working, but they didn’t mind at all and were happy to explain things. You do need to keep their caffeine levels up though 😄 — they initially said no to coffee, but after pushing 4–5 times they finally gave in! The installation was completed on time, and they then walked me through exactly how the whole system works, step by step. Special mention to AbdiRashid, the owner. From the very beginning he was excellent — came to my home personally for the quotation, gave honest insights, explained everything clearly, and was always available on WhatsApp to answer any questions. All documentation was completed and sent back by the next working day, which was impressive. The system has been up and running smoothly, and we’ve been off-grid for the last 6–7 days, exactly as promised. It’s doing precisely what AbdiRashid said it would do, which was the whole reason I went ahead. Highly recommend SMS — professional, reliable, and genuinely great people to deal with.

We just had a full new inverter, 10kW battery and electrical rewiring done by Solar Maintenance Solutions (Andy, Jan and Luke). From start to finish, all 3 of them have done a phenomenal job and got our solar panel system working again (apart from 1 damaged panel - not their fault - Andy sourced a new panel which will be all fitted on Tuesday and then we have the full thing working at its optimum). Cannot wait to start saving money on the electric bills and make savings where possible! Thank you to all 3 of the lads for doing a cracking job. 10/10 and kept us all in good company. Will recommend to everyone to use their services in future!
